A rare and refined expression of heritage.
 
This vintage Vacheron Constantin ladies’ jewellery watch (Model 18792) is crafted in 18K yellow gold, featuring a distinctive lozenge-shaped case inspired by a 1919 design (see Figure 12)—strikingly contemporary even today. The bezel is set with 20 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approximately 10 carats, capturing light with remarkable intensity.
 
Powered by the Cal. 1430 manual movement with 18 jewels, paired with an integrated 18K gold bracelet, the piece embodies both technical refinement and timeless beauty. Serviced and authenticated by Vacheron Constantin (see Figure 13), the watch is presented in excellent condition, accompanied by its original box and an extract from the archives.
 
I personally commissioned Vacheron Constantin’s Heritage Department in Geneva to extend the bracelet to fit my wrist (see Figure 14), with two additional links crafted in perfect proportion to the original.
 
There was a time when chainsmiths in Geneva were highly sought after, their craft holding a distinct place in the history of fine watchmaking. Today, such expertise has all but disappeared. Yet the work delivered by Vacheron Constantin’s Heritage Department suggests otherwise—hinting that the maison still preserves artisans capable of mastering these exceptional, time-honoured skills.
 
江诗丹顿古董女士珠宝腕表，一支极具传承底蕴与几何美学张力的珍稀之作。型号：18792，18K黄金材质，独特的菱形表壳设计，灵感源自1919年的经典之作(见图12)，即使放在当下，依然显得前卫而隽永，很难想象这是一支五十年前的手表，表圈镶嵌了20颗明亮式切割钻石，颗颗闪耀，总重约10克拉，光影之间折射出钻石的璀璨光芒。
 
搭载江诗丹顿经典的Cal. 1430手动上链机芯，18石，配以一体式18K黄金表链。经江诗丹顿官方保养及鉴定(见图13），整表状态极佳，并附原装表盒及官方档案摘录。
 
我特意委托江诗丹顿瑞士原厂的Heritage部门，根据我的手腕尺寸(见图14)，对表链进行了 1:1 复刻加长，增添了两节由官方手工制作的表节链，使佩戴更加贴合与舒适。
 
曾几何时，日内瓦的表链工匠风靡一时，这门精细工艺在高级制表历史中占据着独特的位置。遗憾的是，随着时代变迁，这样的需求已几近消失。即便如此，江诗丹顿的Heritage部门依然交出了一份令人满意的功课，也让我不禁推测，品牌至今仍保有掌握珍稀传统工艺的匠人。
